Bacon and Leeks

What You Need

  • 1 pound of bacon

  • 3 fresh leeks, chopped

  • 1 medium onion

  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • Bread of your choice


  • Fry the bacon and drain off excess fat.
  • Remove from pan and chop into small pieces.
  • Return to pan, and add garlic, leeks, and onions.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • When onions are opaque, remove from heat and serve scooped onto warm, soft bread.
